First Business Plan | Second Start the Business | Third Find the Market – Wrong

Posted in Secrets to Success by admin on the April 5th, 2007

A business plan and business idea first, then start up the business and find the market.  This is they way a lot of entrepreneurs do this and it can be a very painful lesson.  While many business schools have taught business plan writing it is a necessary skill to be able to put thoughts and financial model’s down on paper.  Well guess what?  That can sometime back fire if we aren’t carfeful, I know I’ve done it that way before and my businesses failed.  So what’s the answer?  Prove there is a business BEFORE we go into business.

In todays fast moving economy things are moving at lightening speed.  And because of that there are many advantages that can be had.  With the Internet we can now gather research in a matter of hours.  Entrepreneurs can set google alerts to any keyword phrase and have them come into our inbox immediately when they hit the wires and the Web 2.0 platform.  The name of the game is to test first.  Plan second.  Execute third.  So what is the best way to do this?

We have not seen any solutions in the market place that provides a simple layout or a roadmap so we deceided to make one our selves and we called it the http://www.ultimatebusinesstoolbox.com/”> Ultimate Business ToolBox.  My Success Gateway, LLC enrolled David Bullock who is a very smart engineer by trade and asked him to design the thought process of what a successful business owner would do as they thiknk about starting a new business.  Here is what Skip McGrath had to say about the http://www.ultimatebusinesstoolbox.com/”> Ultimate Business ToolBox.

I have owned several successful businesses –but I also started a lot of businesses that failed. Invariably my businesses failed due to lack of knowledge, poor planning and preparation. The problem was I never had a mentor. I wish I had something like the Ultimate Business Toolbox when I was starting out.

It would have saved me years of experimenting and thousands of dollars. If you want to start a business online or offline, get the Ultimate Business Toolbox in your business garage. This kit will pay for itself the first day.
