I knew that this was a very special interview because I knew that he and his son have made a difference in this world.  A difference times millions.  Yes, they have moved and changed millions of lives and inspired them to become the best that they can be.  If you look at the 950 marathons and ironmans that they have competed in you might think that they are just some sort of a fairy tale.  That is far from the truth.  What is also far from the truth is that Dick is the person driving the train.  Rick is the one who is driving the train and it was his idea to start the marathon thing 26 years ago.

Rick said to his Dad that when they run it was the only time that he does not feel disabled.  Recently Rick had a couple of operations and he is recovering from them.  Dick and Rick are condidered “The Boston Marathon,” and because Rick and Dick can’t be there this year due to a medical recovery we will probably hear more about the Boston Maraton than any other year since they are not there.  Take a look at this interview.  See what the 2007 Boston Marathon is going to be missing.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flRvsO8m_KI&mode=related&search=
